Zach Reini / Cloverleaf

Zach Reini (b. 1990, Denver, Colorado) is young Denver-based artist, in his artistic production focused on the structural breakdown of the popular signs of contemporary western culture. Quite significant feature of his work is using the semiotic drift rather than adherence to the unambiguous sematic level of meaning. Among Reini’s frequent media of expression belong conceptual approach to painting, photography (he regularly publishes his own photographic zine), video and hardcore punk and noise music (he is a member of Civilized, Cadaver Dog and Polyurethane). The brilliant ease, tendency to minimalism, emphasis on the correlation of content and form as well as dark humour intersect his work across the media.

Zach Reini graduated from Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design, getting his BFA in 2012.

In the exhibition context of ScreenSaverGallery, we proudly present his conceptual video performance Cloverleaf from 2012 – letting this zen-like drive through the Denver winter scenery to become your New Years’ screen saver.
