Secondary Industrial School in Lipník nad Bečvou, Czech Republic – course of computer graphic taught by Jiří Neděla.

The three selected works presented in ScreenSaverGallery from May 19 to May 21 were produced by the students of the second year at Secondary Industrial School in Lipník nad Bečvou. I have chosen those particular works for Unleashing Screensaver exhibition for their differentness regarding themes, applied techniques and also for significant individual style of their authors.
The works were created in the course of computer graphic; however I teach the same group of students also the courses of Drawing and composition and Art history. The selected works therefore reflects also my efforts to combine the material covered in all three courses into one organic whole.

Magdaléna Holíková: Pomegranate graphics

This graphic was created in Adobe Illustrator as one of my first graphic using this computer program. Maybe that’s why I have decided for still life. The main theme is a flower vase and a pomegranate. I have placed those two objects onto the desktop and lit them with the daylight coming in from the window. I was attempting to create harmonic whole by using geometrical shapes and curves and shades of color. I enjoy working in this kind of software even though the work can be sometimes very difficult. I am a student of the second year of the Secondary Industrial School in Lipník nad Bečvou, Czech Republic where I study Graphic design with a focus on interior and exterior design.
