Unleashing Screensaver: May 21st

Secondary Industrial School in Lipník nad Bečvou, Czech Republic – course of computer graphic taught by Jiří Neděla.

The three selected works presented in ScreenSaverGallery from May 19 to May 21 were produced by the students of the second year at Secondary Industrial School in Lipník nad Bečvou. I have chosen those particular works for Unleashing Screensaver exhibition for their differentness regarding themes, applied techniques and also for significant individual style of their authors.
The works were created in the course of computer graphic; however I teach the same group of students also the courses of Drawing and composition and Art history. The selected works therefore reflects also my efforts to combine the material covered in all three courses into one organic whole.

Tadeáš Kovařík: First Round

This photograph was shot, and later post produced in a way which points out emerging urbanism and building of the cities all around the world. Even though we construct “concrete jungles”, it is also possible to find beauty within them – if we want to. Despite the great crowds of people, there is also great anonymity in the cities, which feels like (or is) an oxymoron. This is my personal attitude that is expressed by this photograph; by its editing and by the way it was taken.
